Thank
you for your interest in the Weatherford Blue Belle “Adopt-A-Belle”
program. Your generous support and willingness to help these young
ladies is very much appreciated! Belles is a special opportunity for
High School young ladies to pursue their love of dance and develop
social skills that will benefit them the rest of their lives.
Adopting a Belle is easy. If you already know which Belle you would
like to sponsor, fill out the enclosed form and return to the address
above with your check or money order. If you would like for us to
select one for you, leave the name blank, and I will place your generous
donation with a young lady who is in need of a sponsor. Throughout the
year, the Belle will be encouraged to contact you and let you know how
her year is progressing and how you have impacted her life.
Most
Belles are aware of their “adopt-a-belle” sponsors. However, some
sponsors have asked to remain “anonymous”. That is totally up to you.
Regardless of the anonymity, I will update you throughout the year on
her success.
The
money you donate may help your Belle purchase dance costumes for
practice and performances as well as to help defer costs for camp,
pictures, contest fees, travel expenses, and/or the traditional Belle
hat and boots.
Memories produced this year will last a lifetime and your involvement
can only enhance the outcome. As the Belle motto reads, “the special
part of Belles comes from within the heart”—your donation is just one
more example of this time-honored belief and tradition. Thanks again
for supporting this exceptional group of young people.
